Crystal Springs did a phenomenal job catering for our family birthday party this past weekend. The food was superb. Everything was so fresh and seasoned to perfection. I've received dozens of text messages afterwards from our friends asking who catered the party. The staff on-site were so friendly and hospitable. They were on time and completely prepared for the event. We will absolutely use them again and can't recommend them enough.

We used Crystal Springs Catering recently for a holiday party and they did such a great job. From the initial menu design to table setting to the actual event everything was handled so well, there was no stress and everything executed so well. Michelle helped with taking our details and working with us on the party logistics and was great to work with. The food was great and everyone absolutely loved the setting and the food. We had a slight change where instead of serving we decided to do bartending and Rob was such a great bartender and handled everyone's mocktails and cocktails with equal deft. Matt the other person on site to help was equally efficient with setting up all the courses and getting things packed and unpacked with such quiet calm. I would use their services again and use them and recommend them to anyone else who wants to use their services.

Working with Bob was a pleasure! I had a caterer cancel on me due to illness 5 days before my event. Bob was able to provide delicious food and a service with 5 days notice and was a complete live saver. Sharon was so helpful in helping me arrange a luncheon for my mother's celebration of life. I live out of town and she coordinated everything for me, from the delicious food and wine to the gorgeous flowers from Blooming Vase in Burlingame. She even arranged for Dixieland Jazz at the graveside! Mom and Dad were cutting a rug just like they used to! The entire CSC team was very professional and a delight to work with. They made the day memorable.

"Trust me Dennis, you start with the food." said my experienced meeting planner fifteen years ago when I was leading my first conference. The Wife was about to cross her half century milestone birthday during a global pandemic. How the hell can you have a party worthy of that event when you don't even know if anything will be open? You start with the food. I found Crystal Springs Catering on Yelp a couple of months ago. The search on its own was a challenge because I had very specific requirements. I wanted an English Tea for my Anglophile wife, and as we had the authentic version at The Dorchester Hotel in London, the standards were rather high. There were a few places that had the tea, but not the capacity. Other services couldn't do the tea with the tiers and sandwiches. I called Bob and in the first five minutes of the conversation he had discussed the tiers, sandwiches, petit fours, scones, lemon curd, and in my head I let out a big 'Whew!' because I knew I just got this ball rolling. A few more discussions about how to serve without infecting the guests, at a price that was within industry norms, and I let him know that no matter what, I had found the food. The venue search was a journey. Bob had a lot of ideas and experiences in the region. He did site visits while I wasn't able to attend because I was stuck on teleconferences all day. When it looked like we were getting nothing, we had a solid plan of how to set up in my backyard. Throughout the whole process I knew that the show would go on. Finally, the venues opened up and we scored a jackpot. From there, it was a breeze (for me, at least). We had one more site visit, some brief planning and great coordination with the venue host to set up the plan. I had a dynamic headcount (odd that some people would read about new COVID variants and worry about a superspreader event), but the team rolled with it and the way things were set up I had no concerns because we took every precaution. The day of the event was perfect. Tables were set up according to plan, the food delicious and presented beautifully, and everyone was raving about the quality of the set up and service. Servers were very nice and accommodating to guest needs. After a long and winding road, The Wife got her celebration of a lifetime, and I set high bar for all of our friends who also have spouses near this milestone. All because I listened to the expert and started with the food.

Bob and his team helped cater an event we had for our friends birthday. From start to finish, Bob was attentive and easy to work with. He made all my catering dreams come true. If I knew catering was this easy, I would have had more parties. The food was delicious and we had such a large variety of foods to choose from. Bob also made everything COVID safe by allowing food set up and drop off with little to know interaction and he did not need to use my kitchen. He also included a sneeze guard to protect the food. For a little extra charge he also provides linens, China, glasses...anything you need. Thank you again Bob for your wonderful service! Highly recommended!

Food = GREAT! Delivery = able to go to a park without an address. I just emailed them a google map of the location and had a friend meet them while I was doing my wedding rehearsal. Setup = ontime and with amazing floral setup for $75. Cleanup = showed up 10 minutes before and cleaned it all up without issues, and left us lots of to-go containers (disposable, so be careful about sauces leaking through, which is not their fault) Customer Service = Good phone call etiqutte, multiple follow up emails, quick changes to contracts without issues. Cost = Worth the $1400 for 50 people.
